Elliott rejected Millwall's offer of a new deal to stay at the New Den |
Bristol City have signed Millwall midfielder Marvin Elliott for an undisclosed fee, after he passed a medical at Ashton Gate. The 22-year-old rejected the Lions' offer of a new deal when his current contract expired this summer.
However, as he is under 24, they are entitled to compensation - and have agreed a fee with City rather than go to a transfer tribunal.
Elliott made 144 league appearances during his time with Millwall.
He made his debut in April 2003, and went on to feature in the 2004 FA Cup final and Millwall's Uefa Cup games later that year.
