Fran Sandaza wants new Brighton & Hove Albion deal
Sandaza has scored four of his five goals from the bench
Brighton striker Fran Sandaza says he would like a new deal with Albion when his current contract expires at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old, who joined the Seagulls in September, has scored five goals in 12 appearances this season.
He told BBC Sussex: "The club have not told me anything, I don't know anything about my future.
"It's a great city and a great atmosphere around the team. It would be a pleasure to play here next year."
The Spaniard moved to the Withdean Stadium after being released by Dundee United.
Of his 12 appearances for Gus Poyet's side, 10 have come from the bench, including Tuesday's game with Plymouth when he grabbed the final goal of a 4-0 win.
"Every player wants to play from the start but the team is doing very well and every striker is scoring goals," added Sandaza.
"The other strikers are doing well but I want to be important as well. It's up to the gaffer to play me or not.
"It's a great feeling to score when you come in from the bench. I want to help the team if it's five minutes or 10 minutes, I'll do my best."
