Brighton and Hove Albion forward Fran Sandaza has insisted his injury problems are behind him after coming through a reserve match unscathed.
The 25-year-old failed to get through 90 minutes for Dundee United last season due to hernia problems.
He told BBC Sussex: "It helped me. I haven't played for a while and it was good to get some confidence.
"Whenever the manager wants me I'm ready to start playing games and help the team."
The Spanish striker, who began his career with Toledo, says he has settled in after signing on a free transfer last week.

"The atmosphere in the changing rooms and at the training ground has made me comfortable," he said.
"I'm gaining confidence step by step, and I can't wait to play games."
