Brighton manager Gus Poyet says promotion to the Championship is theirs to lose.
The Seagulls have extended their lead at the top of League One to three points following Saturday's 4-2 win over Bristol Rovers.
The Uruguayan told BBC Sussex: "The only enemies we've got in this league are ourselves.
"If we keep up the pace and the quantity of points per game we'll be up in there."
Brighton have two games in hand over second-placed Bournemouth and one game in hand over Huddersfield who lie in third.
Poyet added: "People have been calling me and saying people are getting closer.
"Until we're on the same amount of games there's still a possibility for us to get points.
"If we stop playing and do things we normally don't do then we are our major enemies."
