Peterborough game 'massive challenge' - Elliott Bennett
Bennett has started all of Brighton's league games this season
Brighton midfielder Elliott Bennett believes their match away to Peterborough will be a test of their promotion credentials.
Albion sit six points clear at the top of League One while Posh are third.
The 21-year-old told BBC Sussex: "I think this is a massive challenge for us to see where we really are.
"If we win at London Road everyone will stand up and take notice. The gap will get bigger but we've got to keep that up for the rest of the season."
He added: "It's no good being six points clear now and being in the play-offs come the end of the season."
Bennett feels the Albion, who have only conceded eight goals in the league, will be able to get the better of Peterborough, who are the top scorers in the division.
"Hopefully we can be disciplined and professional like we have been and shut them out, which doesn't happen too often," he said.
"They've got a lot of players who can cause us problems but we can come out on top of that battle."
