| Tuesday, 28 January, 2003, 10:29 GMT Anderson joins Pirates Bristol Rovers have taken Brentford full-back Ijah Anderson on trial for a week with a view to a permament deal. The 27-year-old recently had a loan spell at Wycombe but returned to Griffin Park after picking up a thigh injury. Rovers currently have Richard Rose on loan from Gillingham, but with Trevor Challis still out through injury, Anderson's arrival will strengthen the squad's defensive ranks. Anderson is likely to be given a run out in the reserves match at Brighton on Wednesday. |
