| Thursday, 28 November, 2002, 16:56 GMT Wycombe seal Anderson loan Brentford defender Ijah Anderson has completed a five-week loan move to Second Division rivals Wycombe Wanderers. Anderson has been on the transfer list at Griffin Park since requesting a move in the summer, and will hope to impress enough to get a permanent deal. The 26-year old recently asked Brentford if they could let him go without a transfer fee, and the Bees have granted his request. Anderson, who joined the club from Southend in 1995 and has since made over 250 appearances, will go straight into Lawrie Sanchez's squad for the game at Stockport on Saturday. However, he will not be allowed to play in the Adams Park club's LDV Vans Trophy Southern Area quarter-final with Bristol City on 10 December because Brentford do not want him cup-tied. |
