Bournemouth's Rhoys Wiggins submits transfer request
Wiggins has made 66 appearances for Bournemouth
Bournemouth defender Rhoys Wiggins has handed in a transfer request.
Wiggins, 23, has scored two goals in 31 league games this season and has asked to leave the club following interest from Championship side Watford.
Bournemouth boss Lee Bradbury told BBC Radio Solent: "I'm disappointed he wants to go.
"This is a crucial part of our season, we're going for promotion and Rhoys is a big part of that," the Cherries' manager added.
"If the move is right for him and the club at the end of the season, and Watford come in with the right money, then the chairman [Eddie Mitchell] has proved he won't stand in his way."
The Welsh international signed a two-year deal with the Cherries in July having previously been with the club on loan from Crystal Palace in 2009 and Norwich in 2010.
All we are asking is that he stays until the end of this season and see what happens then

"Rhoys has been one of our most consistent and influential players all season," continued Bradbury
"He has had his injury problems and not featured at other clubs - we've given him a chance and he's come in and done great for us.
"All we are asking is that he stays until the end of this season and see what happens then."
Wiggins will be unable to leave the club until the transfer window re-opens on 1 July, after the loan transfer deadline passed on Thursday at 1700 GMT.
