Blackpool boss Ian Holloway has said he is looking to add to his squad during the transfer window, but only if the right type of player becomes available.
Holloway admitted he will only consider bringing players in who will move the club forward.
"It's not going to be easy getting people who are as good if not better than the ones I've already got," he told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"I want the right character to come and work as hard as the rest of my lads."
He added: "They [the players] have done a fantastic job for each other and for the fans and myself and we want that to continue.
"If I get the right people and they're available then I will try and add to the squad.
I want someone in the cake mix that we haven't already got
Blackpool manager Ian Holloway
"But I don't want our fans suddenly going out there and flashing the cash."
The Blackpool manager has not revealed any potential transfer targets he would like to bring in.
But he admits he knows the type of player he is after.
"I know the areas that I want to try and add to if I can," said Holloway. "I've been given a brief to get the right sort of age group and see if we can add to it and keep it going.
"I've got some agents ringing me and sending me DVD's of who they think is the best player under the sun. I'll probably have more packages at the ground than when I get home.
"I want someone in the cake mix that we haven't already got. There are areas which I believe we could do with strengthening. If we can get more sellable assets the club will improve and the ones we've already added are good investments, I hope," he continued.
"But if I don't find anybody that I think is suitable then I won't take anybody.
"I've got Stephen McPhee who'll be coming back for the rest of the season and I've got to take a fresh look and Daniel Nardiello.
I don't need to think about just bringing someone for the sake of it. They have to help the workforce and they have to be the right type of person that if I don't pick them they won't cause any problems.
"I'm more than happy with my players because they've put in a massive shift and I'll keep rewarding them if they keep doing that for me.
So far, Blackpool have not received any enquiries for any of their players.
But Holloway admits any interest will show how far the club has come since he took over as manager in May.
"We've received absolutely nothing," he said.
"I'll be very upset if I don't get a few - which I'd like to knock back - because I'm very proud of how they're playing."
