Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has said he wants to sit down and talk over transfer dealings with club president Valery Belokon.

Holloway has targeted five new players, including Rangers midfielder Charlie Adam, and will talk to the Latvian as soon as possible.

"It's all about direction," said the former Plymouth and Leicester boss.

"I'm very confident in my ability to explain what I need and my owner's ability to back me."

Holloway is believed to be keen on bringing Alan Gow back to Bloomfield Road.

The 26-year-old Rangers midfielder had a successful loan spell with the Seasiders last season, scoring five times in 17 appearances.

Blackpool, who have already signed Billy Clarke and Jason Euell, begin their Championship campaign away to QPR on 8 August.
