Tall and rangy, Furlong played in the Premier League for Chelsea

Barnet have signed free agent Tommy Black and brought in striker Paul Furlong on loan from Southend United.

Furlong, 40, will make his debut in Saturday's match against Grimsby Town and Black could also feature.

The London-born former Chelsea player made just four appearances for Southend having signed for them last summer.

Former Arsenal and Crystal Palace winger Black was released by Southend in the summer after one year at Roots Hall in which he scored two goals.
