Chelsea striker Didier Drogba insists he will battle for his place with the Blues, despite increasing speculation about his future at Stamford Bridge.

The 30-year-old has been left out of the last two squads, and there are reports he could be used as part of a deal to sign Manchester City's Robinho.

Drogba is expected to return, however, for Saturday's FA Cup tie with Ipswich.

"I'm in a hurry to return to my best level and be a first-team regular again," the Ivorian said.

Despite now being fully fit after a knee injury, Drogba has found himself out of favour, with boss Luiz Felipe Scolari preferring Nicolas Anelka as a solitary forward.

However, on Tuesday the Brazilian played down speculation linking Drogba with a move away from the London club.

"Didier may be with the squad against Ipswich, he does not have a problem with me or the club," Scolari said.

Drogba added: "If you look back to last May, I've been out for four to six months and it has been very difficult for me.

"But now I feel in top form. I know what I am capable of doing and the real satisfaction for me is that my knee is completely right."

Meanwhile, Branislav Ivanovic's agent, Vlado Borozan, also claims that City boss Mark Hughes wants to buy the Serbian international defender.

"There is something going on with Manchester City, but Chelsea already refused a �15m offer from AC Milan," he said.
