Albert Jarrett targets place in Aldershot first team
Jarrett has had spells at Brighton, Gillingham and Barnet
Aldershot Town loan signing Albert Jarrett is targeting a place in the starting eleven after making his debut against Northampton on Saturday.
The 26-year-old joined last week on an initial one-month deal from League Two rivals Lincoln City.
He told BBC Surrey: "I haven't played much football in the last few weeks so I need to get a bit of sharpness back.
"No disrespect to Lincoln but I want to be playing football. It's not in my mind to sit on the bench."
The Sierra Leone international has made 26 appearances for the Imps this season but has not started a game since their 2-1 defeat to Wycombe on January 15.
"It's a strange one because I've been playing all season but not recently," he said.
"I've got the opportunity here but I can't expect to walk into the team.
"I'll train well, get back to fitness and then Aldershot fans can see what Albert Jarrett is about."
