Aldershot Town manager Kevin Dillon is looking to add four more players to his squad ahead of the start of the season.
Although Dillon has made seven summer signings, the Shots have only 16 senior players contracted for the upcoming League Two campaign.
He told BBC Surrey: "I need 20 players and I've told that to the chief executive and the chairman.
"I've got three players I want to bring in. If I can get them I'll be more than happy, but then I'll need another one."
He added: "You've got to have 20, that's as low as you can possibly have. We definitely need three or four."

Meanwhile, Dillon has reiterated that striker Marvin Morgan, the subject of transfer speculation, will not be leaving the club.
"Nobody has made an offer for Marvin. I've said it about 100 times since I've been here," Dillon said.
"He's not up for sale. Who would I replace him with? It's not going to happen."
