Potts joined the Flames from Newcastle Vipers in 2004

Forward Steve Potts will spend a seventh season with the Guildford Flames after agreeing a new deal.

The 28-year-old made 49 appearances for the English Premier League side last season, contributing 15 goals and 34 assists to their campaign.

Flames head coach Paul Dixon said: "We are glad that Stuart has agreed to return to the side. He is working hard on his off-season fitness preparations.

"We are looking forward to the input that he will have."
