Little had three separate spells with Reading

Aldershot Town have completed the signing of experienced midfielder Glenn Little on a one-year deal.

The 34-year-old former Reading and Burnley winger has spent the last three weeks on trial with the Shots after his release by Sheffield United.

Shots boss Kevin Dillon told BBC Surrey: "He's been great around the training ground and the players like his attitude.

"He's educating players on the pitch and it'll be a big signing for us."

Dillon is still looking to boost his squad as the Shots have only 16 senior players contracted for the coming season.

He added: "There's one lad who I'm not going to mention because other people might find out about him.

"He's been wandering around in non-league for about a year but the talent is there.

"He is someone I'm very keen to take but we need to make sure about his fitness."

Meanwhile Dillon has revealed that trialist Scott Murray will not be signing for the club as the midfielder has decided to combine a job at Bristol City with playing part-time for Bath.
