Aldershot striker Jack Randall suffers injury blow

Randall will miss the start of Aldershot's League Two campaign

Aldershot striker Jack Randall will miss the first three months of the season with a foot injury.

The 17-year-old, who completed his move from Crystal Palace last month, fractured a bone in his ankle during a pre-season friendly.

Shots manager Kevin Dillon says: "It's disappointing news for Jack and for the whole squad too. Jack had been doing really well since his arrival.

"He's likely to be out of action for up to three months which is a set back."

He added: "He will come back fitter and stronger due to the rehabilitation plans and programmes that we now have."
