Aldershot Town captain Anthony Charles has signed a new one-year contract with the League Two side.
The 29-year-old defender has made 187 appearances for the Shots and is in his second spell at the club.
Assistant manager Gary Owers told the club website: "It is especially pleasing that Anthony has signed for another year.
"He was an important member of the squad during last season and it is important to secure another member."
He added: "Wherever he played he always did a good job and possessed a good attitude."
Owers hopes to have the futures of other squad members sorted out in the near future.
"We are still trying to finalise a number of contracts and hope to be able to do this within the next seven to 10 days."
