Accrington Stanley have completed the signing of Terry Gornell on a free transfer from Tranmere Rovers.
The 20-year-old has penned a one-year deal at the Crown Ground having enjoyed a successful loan spell with Stanley two seasons ago.
Manager John Coleman told BBC Radio Lancashire: "He's played for us before. He's a good striker and he works hard.
"He has a good goal-scoring record and he ticks all of the boxes. I hope he'll be a big success."
The striker told the club's website: "It's great to be back and this is a team on the up at the moment.
"I didn't need much persuasion to come back. I think the lads here can do something this season."
Gornell scored four goals in 11 appearances during his loan spell and is available for Saturday's trip to Oxford United.
