Accrington Stanley have signed defensive duo Sean Hessey and Charlie Barnett after impressing manager John Coleman while on trial at the club.
Hessey, 31, was released by Macclesfield Town at the end of last season while Barnett, 21, was released by Tranmere Rovers.
The signings came after the transfer embargo on Accrington was lifted at the weekend by the Football Association.
Both players have signed one-year-deals with Stanley.
The two players will be in contention to play in Stanley's season opener on Saturday against Aldershot.
