Coleraine's Sammy Morrow completes Tranmere transfer
Morrow has played in England with Ipswich and Boston
Striker Sammy Morrow has completed his transfer from Coleraine to League One club Tranmere for an undisclosed fee.
Former Northern Ireland Under-21 international Morrow, now 25, signed after a medical at Prenton Park.
He caught the eye of Tranmere manager Les Parry during a pre-season tournament in Scotland.
Morrow's departure for Birkenhead is a blow to Coleraine boss David Platt who had already lost his top scorer from last season, Rory Patterson.
"I am frustrated with the timing of the move more than anything," Platt told the Coleraine website.
"It has already disrupted our plans for the season and now, with so little time before the transfer window closes, we only have a few days to bring someone else in."
Limavady man Morrow made six appearances for Coleraine and did not score a goal.
Rovers boss Parry told his club website: "I'm delighted to bring Sam to the club as I've been following him for a while.
"He's a classy striker who knows where the goal is. He has a good attitude, is keen to do well and will be a great addition to our squad."
