Newry City defender Cullen Feeney
Cullen Feeney headed Newry's equaliser in injury-time

Cullen Feeney's 92nd-minute goal earned Newry City a deserved opening-day point in the Carling Premiership clash against Glenavon at Mourneview Park.

James Costello fired Glenavon ahead in the fifth minute after good work by Tony Grant.

Newry improved in the second quarter with Feeney heading wide and Ross Black testing goalkeeper Andrew Plummer.

The visitors kept pressing in the second half and reward came when Feeney headed home Darren Cassidy's cross.
