Newry City have placed defender Cullen Feeney on the transfer list as part of a cost-cutting exercise at the club.
City boss Gerry Flynn rates Feeney as 'one of the best defenders in the league' but he has fallen victim of a tightening of the wage structure.
Feeney has one year left on his contract at the Showgrounds club.
Meanwhile Lee Feeney has indicated a desire to leave but Flynn is keen to acquire the services of Lucasz Adamczk and defender Aaron Callaghan.
Midfielder Adamczk is currently on the books of Loughgall while Callaghan is with Dungannon Swifts.
