Mark Farren scored Derry City's opener at Belfield

Fourth-placed Derry City secured maximum points at Belfield thanks to goals in the second half from Mark Farren and Kevin Deery.

Farren netted the opener, and his eighth of the season, in the 56th minute by getting the telling touch on Niall McGinn's low ball.

Deery headed past UCD keeper Matt Gregg 12 minutes later to make it 2-0.

Greg Bolger got UCD's goal 11 minutes from time after going one-on-one with Derry keeper Gerard Doherty.
