Derry City's FAI Cup match against Kildare County at Newbridge on Saturday has been postponed after heavy rain.

The Station Road pitch is waterlogged and the decision to call off the game was taken at lunchtime.

The tie has been rearranged for Tuesday night with City firm favourites to progress in the competition.

The Candystripes have already secured a place in the League Cup final and boosted their league position with a 3-0 win over Cobh Ramblers last week.
