Cliftonville went down 4-0 to Belgian side Gent in Saturday's Intertoto Cup second round, second leg game at Windsor Park, losing 6-0 on aggregate. Dominic Foley poked home a left foot shot on 13 minutes and Adekanmi Olufade fired in from the edge of the box to extend the lead after 44 minutes.
Olufade squared to Davy De Beule who scored from 12 yards a minute later.
Djorde Svetlicic was sent-off for a professional foul and Olufade made it 4-0 with a 20-yard shot on 85 minutes.
Kieran O'Connor was off target with an early headed effort for Cliftonville before former Bohemians striker Foley found the net.
Francis Murphy missed a good chance for the Reds but man-of-the-match Olufade got in on the act with the second.
De Beule sidefooted the third into the top corner and Gent had chances to add to their tally in the second half.
Svetlicic brought down Mark Holland and was shown a straight red card on 79 minutes.
Olufade then scored the best goal of the game into the top left corner of the net.
