Vincent Sweeney had an impressve season with Cliftonville |
Cliftonville striker Vincent Sweeney has been suspended from all domestic football after failing to attend a disciplinary hearing on Monday night. The Irish FA hearing was scheduled to investigate an incident which occurred after the Carnegie League game against Ballymena United on 27 January.
Cliftonville apologised for Sweeney's non-appearance on Monday.
The North Belfast club added that the striker had been unable to attend because of family reasons.
Despite the ban, Sweeney will be available for Saturday's Inter-Toto Cup first leg against Latvian side FC Dinaburg and the return leg.
