Woking progress in FA Cup, Farnborough draw

FA Cup

Woking are into the hat for the FA Cup first round draw after a 3-2 win at home to Eastleigh.

Former Fulham striker Elvis Hammond scored his first goal for the Cards 23 minutes from time to seal the win.

Farnborough will face a replay against Dover after they could only draw 1-1 at the Rushmoor Stadium.

However Staines Town were beaten 2-0 away to Kent League side Hythe Town, who are the lowest-ranked team left in the competition.

Woking manager Graham Baker told BBC Surrey: "It was a classic cup tie and fortunately we came out with the win.

"They scored in the first minute and we could have crumbled but we came back well.

"We want the weakest team at home next, but Southampton away would be lovely."
