League form irrelevant in FA Cup, says Woking's Baker
Baker was appointed Woking manager in April 2009
Woking boss Graham Baker says his side will put their league form behind them when they face Eastleigh in the FA Cup fourth qualifying round on Saturday.
The Cards have lost their last three games in Blue Square Bet South.
Baker told BBC Surrey: "You can forget where each team is in the league, league form and current form. It's a cup game.
"Both teams will be going for it and looking to stay in the competition. It's a one-off match on the day."
Baker is looking to his players repeat their cup feats of last season in order to improve the club's finances by setting up the possibility of facing a league side in the next round.
Woking reached the first round of the FA Cup and the second round of the FA Trophy in 2009/10, losing to Swindon Town and Oxford United respectively.
"We managed to put a few pennies in the bank on two cup runs last season so we aim to do that again this season," Baker said.
"If you keep progressing, yes, the finances come with it but obviously with that comes the opportunity to play bigger sides as well."
