Osborne impressed during a month at Oxford United

Oxford City will not have to face former Oxford United defender Karleigh Osborne in the FA Cup on Saturday, BBC Oxford have learned.

Osborne, 20, is currently on loan with Eastbourne, but Brentford, his parent club, do not want him to be cup tied.

City face Borough in the fourth qualifying round at Court Place Farm.

Centre-back Osborne played six games on loan during a successful spell at United last month but the club did not have the funds to keep him.
