| Saturday, 30 November, 2002, 18:40 GMT Barnsley 2-2 Oldham Barnsley capped off a historic week with a draw against Oldham thanks to a late goal from Bruce Dyer. Dyer drilled a last-minute strike into the roof of the net to hand the Tykes a deserved equaliser. Barnsley, who are set to be taken out of administration, nearly left empty-handed when substitute Chris Killen looked to have given Oldham the win with an 81st-minute header. Promotion-chasing Oldham took the lead just before the half-hour after David Mulligan's sliding tackle had taken out Chris Armstrong and the referee's assistant. John Eyre delivered a free-kick to the far post for Julian Baudet to head home from 10 yards. But the home side were level within a minute, Mike Sheron drilling a fierce shot from 25 yards past keeper Les Pogliacomi for his third goal in two games. Oldham's Carlo Corazzin was denied an injury-time winner by the legs of Barnsley keeper Andy Marriot.
