Eastbourne Borough boss Garry Wilson says they must improve on their opening display in Blue Square Bet South.
The Sports scored a late equaliser to draw 1-1 at home to Farnborough.
Wilson told BBC Sussex: "Second half, I was really disappointed with our performance. We must do better and get control of the ball.
"I felt we got caught on the ball trying to be too clever at times. That will sharpen us up but it won't stop us trying to play."
He added: "But we've got to be pleased we salvaged a point."

Borough travel to Dartford on Tuesday, and Wilson expects a close match.
"We don't know a lot about them but we'll wait for the scouting report," he said.
"I think it will be a really tough game and will give us a benchmark for this league."
