Blue Square Bet South outfit Eastbourne Borough have signed Sam Cole from Sussex County League side Rye United.
The 19-year-old can play at left-back or on the left wing.
Cole was part of the Rye side which finished second in Division One of the County League and reached the quarter-finals of the FA Vase last season.
Cole, who was named Rye's young player of the year at the end of the campaign, is Borough manager Garry Wilson's eighth signing of the summer.
