Harrogate Town disappoint boss Weaver in final game
Simon Weaver has been in charge for two seasons at Harrogate Town
Harrogate Town boss Simon Weaver was disappointed after his side ended their season with a disappointing 3-0 defeat at AFC Telford United.
The result means Town finish 12th in the Blue Square Bet North table.
Weaver told BBC Radio York: "There's bits where we need to improve on if we're going to be better next season.
"I think we need a little bit of strengthening down the core of the team but it won't be wholesale changes. I don't want it to be."
He added: "You want to keep as much of the team together because we're on a journey. We've got a hunger to get there and be more successful but you do it bit by bit.
"I don't think the score reflected on the whole performance. That was hardly a game like at Droylsden.
"I thought we created quite a few good opportunities to score but it was a problem defending set pieces.
"I was disappointed but you can't really have a good old go at the players afterwards because that's the last game."
