Tubbs has scored 40 goals this season

Matt Tubbs hit his 40th goal this term as Blue Square Bet Premier champions Crawley denied York City and extended their unbeaten run to 30 league games.

York looked set to spoil the party at the Broadfield Stadium when they took the lead after five minutes.

David Hunt was the unlikely scorer, turning the ball into his own net from Jamal Fyfield's dangerous cross.

But the prolific Tubbs secured a draw with a penalty following Levi Mackin's foul on substitute Craig McAllister.

The Red Devils poured forward in search of a winner but Tubbs, Josh Simpson and Willie Gibson all missed chances.
