McGregor scored after Matt Birley's shot rebounded off the crossbar

Worcester City twice surrendered a lead and shared the points with Stafford Rangers in Monday's Blue Square Bet North match at St George's Lane.

Tom Thorley's 15th-minute chip put City ahead against his old club but Niall Maguire headed Rangers level from a corner seven minutes after the break.

Marc McGregor restored City's lead on the hour when he followed up after Matt Birley's shot came back off the bar.

But Sean Kinsella's free kick eight minutes later earned Stafford a point.

Worcester City manager Carl Heeley told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "We can stand there for an hour and a half on Thursday nights and kick balls into the box to teach them how to mark men.

"It is disappointing that we have to spend training sessions at this stage of the season teaching people how to mark somebody.

"But it looks like that is what we are going to have to do if we are to stop conceding from set plays."
