Promotion-chasing Blue Square Bet North side Nuneaton Town have signed Kettering striker Iyseden Christie and Corby Town midfielder Richard Lavery.
Former Coventry, Mansfield and Leyton Orient forward Christie, 34, joins until the end of the season, when his Poppies deal will have expired.
Lavery, 33, is a competitive midfielder renowned for his tackling prowess.
Manager Kevin Wilkin has made the double signing in a bid to maintain their faltering promotion bid.
Wilkin said: "Two new additions to the side are both very experienced players who will bring a big presence to the side.
"Richard is tough tackling and Iyseden can bring some goals which some might say we are lacking.
"More importantly they might be able to show the younger players what they need to do.
"I hope both players can bring something and help us push on to the end of the season."
