Gainsborough Trinity offer fans role in new ground bid
Gainsborough Trinity chairman Peter Swann says he is looking for more involvement from fans in the club's proposed move to a new ground.
The Blues are looking to set up a committee involving supporters and local business people to help with the search and development of the ground.
Swann told BBC Lincolnshire: "We want to make sure that everyone realises this is for the community.
"There will be business people involved but we definitely want fans involved."
Having had plans for a site at the Queen Elizabeth High School turned down by Lincolnshire County Council last year, Trinity have been seeking alternative sites, and Swann said the viability of further locations around the town will be assessed in the next few months.
Gainsborough have been at their Northolme ground for more than 125 years.
