Braintree boss Rod Stringer has praised top-scorer Sean Marks after he grabbed both goals against Dover in the 2-1 Blue Square Bet South win on Tuesday.

The victory extends the Iron's lead at the top of the Blue Square Bet South table to 10 points.

Stringer told the club's official website: "We played some great stuff before the break and he [Marks] scored two cracking goals.

"I'm really pleased with the lads, I'm proud of them," he added.

Marks, who signed for Braintree in May 2008, has found the net 21 times so far this season.

Braintree Town's next match is at home to Dartford on Saturday, February 12.
