Luton Town 1-0 Gloucester City

Gloucester City

New Luton Town signing Luke Graham's late goal saw off Blue Square Bet North side Gloucester City to earn his side a place in the FA Trophy quarter-finals.

The on-loan Kettering Town defender, signed on deadline day, slotted home from eight yards on 85 minutes to spare the Trophy favourites' blushes.

But the Hatters were given a real scare by a battling Gloucester within six minutes of a replay.

City hit the post as well as forcing two good saves from Kevin Pilkington.

Gloucester also contested Luton's matchwinner when Graham was left unmarked to fire home after Luke Howell's free-kick beat the visitors' offside trap.

Luton were not playing their full first team, boss Richard Money having made seven changes from the team who beat Darlington 4-0 in the Blue Square Bet Premier on Tuesday night.
