Gloucester City manager David Mehew is hoping that his players will perform on the big stage when they take on Luton Town in the FA Trophy on Friday night.
"It's a freebie, and I hope the lads don't freeze," Mehew told BBC Radio Gloucestershire ahead of his side's third round tie at Kenilworth Road.
"If I've to give a motivational speech, then the players are at the wrong club.
"If they play their strongest team they'll probably win but, if they have an off day, we can cause an upset."
Richard Money's full timers sit in second place in the Blue Square Bet Premier following Tuesday night's 4-0 win against Darlington 4-0 in front of 5,770 fans at Kenilworth Road.
City are part time, watched by only around 300 supporters in the Blue Square Bet North, but a healthy number of those will travel to Bedfordshire.
And Mehew insists that his team are well prepared for their big night.
"I've spoken to the manager at Uxbridge, who Luton played in the last round so we know quite a bit about them," he said.
"This is the type of game we want week in, week out and the boys will be out to impress.
"There have been a lot of games over the years where we have let ourselves down ourselves down in Cup competitions.
"Lowestoft in the FA Cup last season still rankles with me.
"But we'll be up for it and we'll give them a game."
Meanwhile, Luton are likely to make changes from the side that beat Darlington.
Money has opted to rest a number of first-team players in previous rounds of the Trophy this season and will stick to that method.
"We don't consider it a Trophy team, we've used the squad in a sensible manner but we want to get through to the next stage," he told BBC Three Counties Radio.
"We'll have four or five players who we would consider first-team players [but have had limited action] on the pitch .
"And we'll supplement that with people that played the other night [against Darlington], rather than youngsters.
"We're fully focused on getting through and we'll see what happens from there."
