Midfielder Frankie Artus netted his third goal of the season to earn Cheltenham a point against Morecambe.
The hosts had taken the lead when Stewart Drummond nodded home Tony Capaldi's left-wing cross.
But the Robins equalised when Artus slammed in a sublime free-kick from 30 yards out that left keeper Barry Roche well beaten.
Both sides had chances to win the game but Brian Smirkle and Andy Fleming saw their headers go wide.
Cheltenham manager Mark Yates told BBC Gloucestershire: "I thought we were excellent today. Frustrated that we haven't won the game convincingly, but that's not to take anything away from the performance. We just didn't quite get out of the traps in the second half.
"I thought some of the football we played was outstanding. We should have been out of sight really with the chances that we created.
"I'm delighted with a lot of good performances out there today. All of my players can be pleased with their contributions to a very good game."
