Bury Town boss Richard Wilkins has threatened to shake up his side ahead of Saturday's trip to AFC Hornchurch.
Town, second in the Ryman Premier, relinquished a two goal lead to lose 5-2 to Harrow on Tuesday.
It was only the Blues' fifth league defeat of the season, but Wilkins was less than impressed.
"Defensively the last half-an-hour we were awful and there'll have to be changes for Saturday," he told BBC Radio Suffolk.
"Every time we get a chance to push up to the top of the table we blow it and there's a bit of a soft underbelly defensively at the moment."
Bury remain just three points behind leaders Sutton, with both sides having played 26 times.
And Wilkins believes his men possess the quality to push their promotion rivals all the way.
"We have but we're still very naive," he said.
"And unfortunately our form away from home is better than it is at home.
"Yes we play attractive football, but against Harrow, you can call it a blip, but we had a blip against Tonbridge [in a 2-1 defeat in January].
"And we're not making things count, you can still win games 1-0 or 2-1."
