Cambridge United midfielder Sam Ives has joined Ryman Premier League side Bury Town on a 28-day loan deal.
The 19-year-old U's youth product has played 34 times and scored twice since making his league debut in the 4-1 win against Woking in January 2009.
Ives will be available for Town's weekend trip to Concord Rangers.
"I want to be playing games and hopefully I come back a lot better and raring to go with the United team," he told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.
"If I do well and the gaffer wants me to stay out on loan I'd be fine with that, but we'll see what happens."
