Weymouth manager Martyn Rogers prepared to make changes
Rogers took over following Ian Hutchinson's sacking last week
Weymouth boss Martyn Rogers says he is prepared to make changes to his squad in order to help them avoid relegation
The Terras, who are 21st in the Zamaretto League Premier division, beat Hemel Hempstead 2-1 on Wednesday in Rogers' first game in charge.
"If I can get players in to improve this club I will," Rogers told BBC Radio Solent.
"It's about the quality of players we can get to improve our chances of getting out of this division."
He added: "It's something me and George Rolls need to talk about and I'm sure he's sympathetic to wanting to get someone in.
"But I won't get players in unless they can improve us and enhance the football club."
Weymouth face Swindon Supermarine on Saturday, having only won six of their 25 league games this season, and Roger admits his side still have a lot of work to do.
"We know we aren't the finished article and all the time I'm putting into place my thoughts on what we need to do to get going again," he said.
"The players against Hemel Hempstead were magnificent and I'm looking for the same response Saturday whatever players we select.
"It's now all hands on deck with everybody pushing in the right direction because Weymouth need to be challenging at the top of the table rather than the bottom."
