Nolan has played for Peterborough, Cambridge United and King's Lynn
Lowestoft Town boss Micky Chapman says the return of last season's top scorer Matt Nolan will be a boost to the side.
Nolan, 28, has missed most of the campaign with a broken arm but is back among the first-team reckoning.
"He's a quality player. Matty Nolan just brings something different to the table," Chapman told BBC Radio Norfolk.
"I feel that when he is fully fit and he's playing, we're a different proposition and it will be great to have him back, fighting for a place."
Nolan arrived at Crown Meadow from AFC Telford United in September last year and went on to score 32 goals in 49 games in his debut season.
The former Peterborough United frontman has yet to make a Ryman Premier start this term and, with the weather causing a fixture backlog, Chapman believes his return could be timely.
Our priority has always been the league and we want to be at the top end of the league competing

"This mini break has given everybody a chance to rest their wounds," he said
"Matt's now going to be training full-time and fighting fit very soon, and that can only bode well for the future.
"We want to be able to pick from a fully fit squad and we've not been able to do that once this season."
Town's success in cup competitions this campaign has seen them fall three games adrift of league leaders Sutton United.
A win in all of their games in hand would put the Trawler Boys level at the top, but Chapman knows that is easier said than done.
"We're still in a healthy position, we've got three games in hand on the top sides, I know you've got to win them but we're up there, within touching distance," he added.
"Our priority has always been the league and we want to be at the top end of the league competing."
