Former Norwich City winger Adrian Forbes has agreed to join Lowestoft Town in a two-year deal.
The 31-year-old, who played 121 times for the Canaries, left Grimsby by mutual consent in the summer.
Lowestoft coach Craig Fleming told BBC Radio Norfolk: "It's been a long time coming, I've been speaking to Adie since the end of last season.
"He's played at a high level, his experience will be invaluable because we've got quite a young squad."
He added: "He's still a very good player and a good goal threat for us."
Forbes is available for Saturday's Ryman League Premier game against Wealdstone.
