Adam Proudlock signs new AFC Telford United deal

Proudlock has played for eight Football League clubs

AFC Telford United striker Adam Proudlock has signed a deal until the end of the season, with an agreement in principle for another year.

The 29-year-old was given a short-term contract in September after impressing manager Andy Sinton in training.

And, following Proudlock's six goals in 10 appearances, Sinton was keen to keep hold of the former Wolves forward.

The manager told BBC Radio Shropshire: "He's shown a real maturity, he's a quality player."

Sinton, who played alongside Proudlock in his days at Wolves, has been impressed by his attitude after leaving Grimsby Town this summer.

606: DEBATE

"It speaks volumes for someone like Adam Proudlock who came in to train for us for a couple of weeks to prove himself without being paid or asking to be paid," he said.

"From day one he's said this is where he wants to be and feels he can progress. I'm sure people think he's being paid a fortune, that's not the case at all."

A number of clubs from a higher level have shown an interest in signing Proudlock following his recent good form.
