Shrewsbury Town winger Mark Wright wins award

Mark Wright
Wright is on loan from Bristol Rovers until January

Shrewsbury Town winger Mark Wright has won the League Two player-of-the-month award for November.

Wright has scored eight goals in his last eight games - bagging a hat-trick against Hereford last month.

"It's another bonus, I feel good, I'm really enjoying my football here," Wright told BBC Radio Shropshire.

The 28-year-old winger is currently on loan at Shrewsbury from Bristol Rovers where he struggled to settle after leaving MK Dons.

The former Walsall forward is living in his hometown of Wolverhampton and hopes to extend his current loan spell beyond January.

He added: "I'm living at home again now and feel a lot more settled. I've been away from my family for four years and last season I had to move twice. I feel a lot more confident now.

"I'd like to stay, we'll have to see what happens."

He has already won the Professional Footballers Association fans award for November.
