Proudlock has played for eight football league clubs
AFC Telford United striker Adam Proudlock is close to signing a new long-term contract with the club.
The 29-year-old was given a short-term contract in September after impressing manager Andy Sinton in training.
And, following Proudlock's six goals in 10 appearances, Sinton is keen to keep hold of the former Wolves forward.
"We're very close, we just need to sort out a few minor things, nothing to do with money," Telford manager Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"Hopefully we can make an announcement imminently."
Sinton, who played alongside Proudlock in his days at Wolves, has been impressed by his attitude after leaving Grimsby Town this summer.
"He's shown a real maturity," added Sinton. "I've tested him to see what his attitude and hunger is like and he's ticked all the boxes. It's time we signed him."
